Summary

What you'll be working: We can be flexible but you will work a total of 37.5 hours per week. What you'll be doing: Use specialist knowledge to inform sound clinical judgements for complex neurological rehabilitation planning including undertaking initial client assessment that represent the inter-disciplinary team contribution. Provide line management support and supervision to team members from a clinical and/or organisational perspective Ensure team issues and concerns are identified and escalated to the senior team in a timely manner Provide specialist differential diagnosis, clinical advice and therapy / management plans to clients with neurological impairments. Act as an autonomous practitioner, work unsupervised using initiative. Take responsibility for defined areas of clinical specialism, developing advanced skills and sharing knowledge and skills with others via mentorship, training and joint sessions. Be accountable for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice as appropriate Work within defined departmental and national protocols/policies and professional code of conduct to guarantee quality and safety Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for the quality of own work and submit performance data as required A link to the full job description and personal specification is at the bottom of this advert. What you'll have: A recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist Minimum of 3 to 5 years post graduate experience Current registration with HCPC as a Occupational Therapist Experience of working within a Neurological Care and Rehabilitation setting We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
