Being a scrub nurse in the NHS is a specialised and vital role within surgical teams, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of procedures in operating rooms. This position involves preparing and maintaining sterile equipment, assisting surgeons during operations, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical interventions. What you can add: To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team To participate in the assessment of patient care needs implementing and maintaining agreed standards of care. Following Codes of Professional Practice provide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment. The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above. What youll need: Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatres Registered with NMC *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
