Summary
To undertake all duties in line with the training and instruction provided by the Nurses, and General Practitioners Assistance at clinics, setting up and supporting clinicians and ensuring patient care by chaperoning and assisting patients to dress and undress Phlebotomy Urine testing/ dipping Wound Dressing Patient Health Checks Blood Pressure Monitoring Conduct weight and height measurements, test and record blood pressure and blood sugar levels Provide assistance in minor operations and coil fittings ensuring patient care by chaperoning etc Venepuncture and the taking and preparing of pathology samples Undertake ECGs NHS Health Checks Ear syringing and giving Influenza/B12 injections, according to protocols Ensure adequate infection control procedures in treatment and consulting rooms Ensure adequate stock levels in stock room, treatment rooms, fridges and cupboards Ordering medical supplies and checking/recording and storage of supplies on receipt Inputting of information onto SystmOne Ensure the safe storage, recording, rotation and disposal of vaccines Fridge temperature logging and reporting cold chain issues as necessary Spirometry (or willing to be trained to carry them out) Any other duties as directed by the Clinical Team Leaders, GPs or Practice Manager.
