Summary

We are seeking to appoint a skilful, dedicated, and enthusiastic Lecturer to join our growing barbering and hairdressing team.

Whilst teaching experience is an advantage, we welcome applicants that hold a wealth of industry knowledge and skills to pass on to our students. You will be based at our Luton campus with our excellent facilities.

You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.

The ideal candidate will hold a formal barbering qualification to Level 3; additional qualifications/experience in hairdressing would be an advantage. A teaching qualification is desirable, although full training to obtain teacher training qualifications will be supported if you are not yet qualified. Assessor and Internal Verifier qualifications would be an advantage.

You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be actively encouraged to upskill.

You can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, and generous pension.

The working hours for the hourly paid roles can vary and this will be discussed in more detail at the interview stage.

The closing date for applications is Monday 23rd September 2024.
