Summary
Kids Academy Leeds - Leeds, West Yorkshire
Assistant Early Years Educator To work in an OFSTED registered setting in Leeds (LS16) alongside staff who are passionate about children.
Applicants with or working towards a relevant level 2/3 childcare qualification are encouraged , as are those without formal training but who can demonstrate they are eager to work in Early Years.
The post is ideal for a student studying a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Studies or similar who seeks experience working in an EYFS setting .
or anyone with childcare experience wanting flexible hours .
Part time staff typically work approx 20 hours per week depending on shifts and operational requirements.
All applicants will be DBS checked unless they are already on the DBS update service
Main duties:
Assisting core staff with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in an OFSTED registered full day care nursery setting.
Assisting key workers working with children on both a group and one to one basis.
Ensuring effective relationships are maintained with parents/carers, helping to ensure each child's needs are recognised and met.
Holding the safeguarding of young children in a high regard at all times.
Assisting with the supervision of activities and assisting with external trips.
Working flexibly undertaking any other reasonable duties as instructed by management.
