Summary


University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) and Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (CRH) are part of the largest digital health and social care transformation programme in the world. With investment of more than £1 billion pounds a year nationally and a significant additional spend locally, this programme of work has been created to give staff and citizens the technology they need.

Due to this brand-new Innovation programme, we are looking to appoint an EPR Education and Training Lead to assist with this Digital transformation, which will support health and social care in Derbyshire.

Working under the direction of the Chief Nursing Information Officers at both CRH and UHDB you will lead the Digital Education and Training team which comprises the senior Clinical Digital Educators, Clinical Digital Educators, and the Digital trainers, ensuring the delivery of innovative and fit for purpose education and training, in support of the EPR supporting the EPR transformational change

This role will cover all acute and community sites under the UHDB and CRH organisations

Either on site or remote working is available.

This role is essential to prioritising continuous improvements to the digital culture of the organisation. The post holder will be flexible and adaptable, champion and support the implementation of new digital solutions and business processes to culturally embed changes into services across the Trust.

The role also lead and review their team's KPIs to measure the impact of educational initiatives, providing on-the-ground support during system rollouts, and staying updated on advancements in digital technology that improves training and user experience.

The post holder will act as a point of expertise, working closely with clinical and non-clinical teams, educational and workforce leads and the Digital Training, and Identity and Access Management teams in promoting the sustainable adoption of digital working.

This position serves as a champion for continuous learning and development, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in digital education and training.
