Job Summary:
The Senior WIP Controller is a key member of the production planning and control team, responsible for managing the flow of work-in-progress (WIP) across the organization. This individual will analyze and optimize WIP levels, ensuring that production schedules are met while minimizing inventory and associated costs.
Responsibilities:
As Senior WIP Controller, you will be responsible for:
-Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of production schedules, including material requirements, labor requirements, and equipment availability.
-Analyzing WIP levels, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions to optimize production flow.
-Collaborating with production teams to ensure that production schedules are accurately reflected in the WIP system.
-Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to track WIP levels, production schedules, and inventory levels.
-Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to optimize WIP levels.
-Providing training and support to production teams on WIP management best practices.
-Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in WIP management and production planning.
