Summary

SEND Support Assistant

Required ASAP, One Year Fixed Term Contract

We require a full time Teaching Assistant working Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30, term time only

We are working with a Primary School who are seeking to appoint a SEND support assistant to join their friendly team and help us to provide the very best educational experience.

You will be working on a 1:1 with a child in Year 2 who has ASD who is being reintegrated into mainstream class. You will be building strong relationships and positively impacting their learning experience.

Experience of supporting students with a ASD & SEMH would be an advantage for this role.

The successful candidate will:
- · Be dedicated and resilient when supporting children who experience significant barriers to learning.
- · Have experience of working with children with a range of SEND.
- · Be an active member of the SEND team
- · Have excellent communication skills and a professional friendly manner.
- · Be organised and efficient and able to prioritise workload

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
