Summary
Exciting Shift-Based Engineering Role – Join our client SMT’s team in Immingham!
Position: Shift-Based PDI Technician
Hours: Monday to Friday, 38.5 hours per week
Are you passionate about engineering and ready to take on a dynamic role? I am looking for dedicated individuals to join our our client SMTGB’s cutting-edge Machine Preparation Centre (MPC) in Immingham. In this role, you'll be part of a talented team of engineers and technicians, working on the latest Volvo heavy construction equipment, including wheeled loaders, ADTs, and hydraulic excavators.
Shift Schedule:
Week 1: Monday to Wednesday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), Thursday (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM), and Friday (6:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
Week 2:Monday to Wednesday (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM), Thursday (1:00 PM - 9:00 PM), and Friday (12:30 PM - 8:00 PM)
What You'll Do:
• Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections
• Install mechanical and electrical equipment, including hydraulics, lights, reversing cameras, and radios
• Fit new parts as requested by customers, such as buckets, hitches, and grabs
