Summary
HGV Class 1 Drivers for immediate starts in Newport.
Pure Staff are looking for experienced C+E Class 1 Drivers to work alongside one of our clients in Newport.
Our client is a large (well-known) company specialising in general haulage.
The job itself will consist of trunking work.
Distribution is completed in an Articulated curtain-sided lorry. Our client will be accepting a Class 1 Driver who fits the criteria listed below.
Duties of a HGV Class 1 Driver -
- Trunking work.
- Weekday/night and weekend shifts available
- Modern, well looked after trucks.
- A positive mentality
The ideal HGV Class 1 driver will have -
- Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
- 1 year Class 1 experience is essential for this role due to insurance
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Card
- Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
Pay rates;
Days £16ph PAYE
Nights £17ph PAYE
