Summary

To be a point of contact and maintain relationships across the safeguarding team, assisting the team in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective office procedures. To maintain and populate databases with confidential and sensitive information and to produce reports relating to this. To co-ordinate, organise and support the safeguarding training schedules and work with the ICB Training Hub to ensure the smooth delivery of the sessions. This will include booking presenters, ensuring the appropriate venue is located and set up and reviewing evaluations for feedback to be considered. You will be required to support and deliver training with the safeguarding team to ICB Colleagues. Take responsibility to plan and arrange meetings and events which may be internal or external to the team, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made, such as maintaining invite lists, making room bookings, refreshments, etc. and travelling to the site to ensure the event runs smoothly. Using project management skills, provide a fully comprehensive professional project support to the Safeguarding team. Communicate information and issues, including briefings, reports, and legislative updates to members of the safeguarding team, including Named GPs, Safeguarding Lead GPs, and wider partners. Be responsible to attend Joint Agency Review meetings with one of the Safeguarding team and record minutes. These meetings by necessity, are arranged with a short notice period and a swift formulation of the attendees and agenda will be required. Review the confidential datix and serious incident reports to ensure any safeguarding issues are raised with the Safeguarding team for a swift resolution. Ensure the efficient and accurate recording of data on all electronic systems, providing datasets and reviewing information for themes across safeguarding. Complete confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation to a high standard within agreed timescales. Be available to support and coordinate information across health that is needed for CQC inspections. Complex, sensitive information must be collated from several sources and uploaded to a confidential system, which needs to be monitored, reviewed, and adjusted as necessary for a swift resolution. Provide dedicated planning, coordination, and support to the team, as required, including occasional diary management, and maintaining rotas for helpline cover, which may need to be adjust at short notice.
