Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading energy company in their search for a Field Service Engineer covering the Birmingham and Rugby area.
For the successful Field Service Engineer, our client is offering:
• Competitive salary up to £32,000 D.O.E
• 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm)
• Permanent days

The Role – Field Service Engineer:
• Change and repair industrial batteries, chargers and associated equipment for load handling equipment such as FLT's.
• Maintain and repair equipment on Customer Sites
• Liaise closely with Key Accounts and carry out repairs and services as required.
• Carry out battery topping, cleaning, and maintenance on customer premises.
• Attend callouts as and when they come into carry out repairs.
• Shift covers for sickness & holiday support.
• Submit all job sheets and reports to head office on a weekly basis.
• Safely prepare equipment for transportation
• Build up strong relationships with members of staff and customers.
• Work closely with the service department to plan and schedule jobs and prioritise urgent callouts.
What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer:
• Mechanical dexterity
• Formal qualification in mechanical or electrical discipline - ESSENTIAL
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not essential
• Knowledge of forklift batteries and chargers would be an advantage
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence - ESSENTIAL
