37.5 hours per week

Salary: £28,500 - £32,000

Qualifications
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with active UK NMC registration.
  • Experience in respiratory care and a solid understanding of related conditions and treatments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice and patient safety.


Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with respiratory conditions, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess respiratory status to ensure patients receive appropriate treatment and support.
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families on respiratory disorders, self-care techniques, and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, protocols, and policies to improve respiratory care services.
  • Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and addressed effectively.
