Summary

The School of Biological Sciences technical team is looking to recruit a team member to provide technical assistance in the teaching laboratories including general infrastructure support.

This role will be based at the Highfield Campus in the Institute for Life Sciences Building 85 and daily activities include support of the preparation of materials and resources to be used during undergraduate practical classes.

The Biological Sciences technical team is an adaptable, proactive and hardworking team and the ideal candidate should have a good range practical and soft skills that will complement the team’s work ethic.

Learning and experience gained through previous employment, work experience, training in a biological science related setting is essential.

Please note that The School of Biological Sciences technical team do not participate in demonstrating, teaching or research related activities.

The technical team is busy all year but especially during semesters, and you are discouraged from taking annual leave during this time.
