Summary
We are looking for an individual who is a team player, with a strong work ethic to join a small in-house team providing IT support across the wider business. You will have the ability to problem solve within a dynamic technical working environment, with good communication skills and a customer focused approach to delivery.
As a 1st line support technician, you will be expected to monitor/manage the helpdesk, escalate tickets as necessary and will be the first point of contact for staff. You will be expected to resolve technical issues and queries or escalate to the IT Technician or Head of IT.
You will hold a computer related degree/IT related qualification, or equivalent experience with a working knowledge of IP networks, network fundamentals and an understanding of virtualisation technologies. Additional to this, you will have previous experience of working with helpdesk software, Microsoft 365 products and troubleshooting skills.
Due to the nature of the business, there may be circumstances where situations arise when you might be requested to work outside your normal hours however you will be provided time back in lieu.
