Salary: £13.00 per hour + £16.25 per hour for overtime

P4 Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Senior Support Worker for a brand new service in Fulwood, Lancashire. This is a unique chance to lead a team and deliver high-quality care that empowers individuals to live as independently as possible.

Working Hours:

12-hour shifts on a two-week rolling rota:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
About South Grove House:
The Home is an 8-bed residential care home with 3 self-contained apartments and 5 en-suite rooms. Each apartment has its own kitchen, lounge, bedroom, bathroom, and private entrance, with shared amenities available in the main house.

About the Role:
The organisation are providing trusted mental health, autism, and rehabilitation services in Lancashire and Yorkshire for over 20 years. and support adults aged 18-65 with recovery-focused services in innovative environments. they live by the values every day, and some of our services have achieved CQC Outstanding ratings and Investors in People Gold recognition.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of support workers, ensuring high standards of care and professional development
Develop and implement personalised care plans with the multidisciplinary team
Monitor and manage risk, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and mental capacity legislation
Support residents with daily living, social, recreational, and occupational activities, including community integration
Provide direct support in complex situations, modelling best practices and de-escalation techniques

Ideal Senior Support Worker Will Have:

Experience supporting individuals with autism and mental health conditions
Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team
Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and mental capacity legislation
Commitment to person-centred care and ongoing professional development
