Skills: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities
- Assisting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in their learning
- Helping to manage challenging behaviour and promoting positive social, emotional, and mental health development
- Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help
- Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with students with ASC, SEMH, or other SEND Needs.
- Experience in a similar role within an educational setting or private setting
- Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities
- Ability to support students with emotional and behavioural challenges
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- First Aid certification
- Training in managing challenging behaviour
- Full-time hours
- Contract-based employment
- Work within an educational setting in Mitcham, Greater London

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
