Bring your expertise to the Saint Mary’s Vaccination Programme!
Saint Mary’s managed clinical Service run the maternal vaccination clinics across our maternity services at Oxford Road Campus, Wythenshawe site, North Manchester General Hospital and Trafford. All pregnant women are currently eligible for flu and pertussis vaccination, along with the population wide offer of COVID-19 vaccination and booster. With an addition now of the RSV vaccination between 28-36 weeks of pregnancy. At Saint Marys we want to ensure that all our pregnant women and their partners are offered this great service as we are aware that many pregnant women remain unprotected against these vaccine preventable diseases.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 nurse to join the team in delivering the vaccination programme to pregnant women and their partners at our maternity sites.
The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and a passion for delivering the best care possible and have some knowledge of the vaccination programme currently being delivered. You will work as part of a busy vaccination team to organise, plan, deliver and evaluate the vaccination programme. The job role requires good time management and IT skills and you will be expected to work on your own initiative as well as within a team.
We are looking for candidates to work and travel to various Saint Mary’s maternity sites. The ability to transport yourself throughout the area is an essential requirement for this role.
