Summary
Ofqual is the independent qualifications regulator for England. We currently regulate 200+ awarding organisations, and approx. 11,600 certified qualifications. About the team
We are looking for a User Researcher to join our digital and data team at Ofqual, to continue to grow our user research capability. It’s a hugely exciting time to be part of the government digital and data team.
Over the past year, Ofqual has continued to integrate user centred design principles into our service delivery process, aligning to the Gov Service Manual.
The User Centred Design at Ofqual is about designing our services in collaboration with the people that use them.
You will be involved in user research for a variety of services with diverse audiences and a variety of user needs.
What will the post holder be doing?
A a User researcher you will design, plan and conduct research into what people need from a service and produce insights and recommendations for user-centred design.
You will be working closely with designers, product owners, developers and stakeholders to deliver services that meet user needs.
You will also test design ideas, content and features and use research evidence to identify and understand problems and how they might be resolved.
