Summary

The main responsibilities of the post are: To provide a strong external facing dimension on behalf of YAS To develop and maintain effective networks and develop and manage effective relationships and partnerships with ICB, providers of health, social care and third sector services within the defined Integrated Care System (ICS) footprint To be the key contact for YAS in respect of Urgent and Emergency Care across the defined ICB area, representing YAS at regional forums, networks, operational resilience groups, place based working groups and community groups providing expertise for urgent and emergency care developments To make recommendations for service developments to the Director of Partnerships and Operations in response to system priorities and gaps in provision To report on service developments which may involve presentations to large groups, e.g. service users, stakeholders, staff etc. which will include the dissemination of information which may be highly complex, ensuring that the message or information is ably and succinctly imparted To undertake and present monthly analysis reports on performance, projects and service development activities to internal and external audiences To identify and analyse potentially complex service developments and / or improvements, considering a variety of options and providing recommendations to the Director of Partnerships and Operations, implementing agreed changes To ensure there are effective service models and patient pathways by assessing and analysing systems information including clinical outcomes, complaints, service feedback, patient surveys and handoff numbers Using the organisational, ICB and place strategic priorities, support the development of the Operations Area Plan, Clinical Pathways and Promotion Plan, including roles, responsibilities, targets and outcomes using internal and external governance and guidance Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance processes for monitoring progress against the agreed plans including internal and external reporting, making the required adjustments to achieve changing priorities as required To oversee and manage place-based programme projects and schemes, to ensure key deliverables are achieved on time and in budget To identify, implement and share new ways of driving operational and service excellence across the ICS.
