Senior Physiotherapist – Inpatients | KIMS Hospital Maidstone Permanent | Full Time | Competitive Salary, depending on experience, in line with agenda for change. Are you an experienced multidisciplinary Physiotherapist looking for that next step in your career? Do you want more time to care for your patients in a holistic and rounded service? If so then we have an exciting opportunity for you. As an Inpatient Senior Physiotherapist you will be responsible for development of inpatient therapy services, ensuring a seamless care plan is provided for patients from admission to discharge. Our Therapy department is a diverse multi-disciplinary team who provide exceptional patient care throughout the entire patient journey. You will be absolutely patient focused, with a desire and proven ability to inspire and lead others to deliver healthcare at its best. This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, with a five day working week, covering Monday - Sunday, 8am – 4pm or 10am – 6pm. Role Responsibilities include: Assessment and treatment of patients based around sound clinical reasoning and application of evidence based practice. Management of an inpatient caseload of Orthopaedic, Gynaecological, Breast Surgery, General Surgery and Medical patients. Provide advice based on acquired knowledge and skills and use this to improve on patient / client care and to develop others. Be innovative in methods of care delivery and aid in the effective use of resources to ensure maximum utilisation of skills and knowledge Participate in the development and review of service and professional standards. Person Specification: Possess a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy Have a valid registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) Demonstrate post-registration clinical experience of at least two years, specifically in an orthopaedic field and within inpatients. Be able to show evidence of continuous professional development and its application in practice Be totally patient orientated with a focus on continuous service improvement with the patient experience being the main priority.
