Summary

This post represents an exciting opportunity to join the Campus Library in a customer service role as part of Keele University’s Information and Digital Services Directorate.

The post holder will be based on site at Keele University Campus Library. The successful candidate will be working on the customer service welcome desk assisting with enquiries and ensuring a safe and welcome environment for library users. Other duties include managing item requests, shelving, and maintaining library stock.

You will work a fixed pattern throughout the year covering the hours as indicated below.
30 hours per week all year round
Monday to Friday 2.30pm-8.30pm

You will have experience of working in a customer focused role, preferably within a Library environment but this is not essential as we are looking for a positive and friendly approach demonstrating good communication and IT skills.
