Summary
Hays Recruitment is currently recruiting for multiple Class 1 overnight drivers for our client based in East Kent. This is a full-time, permanent position starting ASAP.
Shift Pattern:
4 days on, 4 days off
10-12 hour shifts (days/nights)
Monday to Friday rate
Weekend rate
Night out allowance plus overtime
Duties:
Operate HGV vehicles
Adhere to driver hours and road laws
Assist in loading and unloading at certain customer sites
Inspect vehicles
Maintain driver logs
Follow traffic laws and regulations
This role involves tramping for 3 nights on the road with brand new 2022 plate trucks equipped with a fridge and microwave.
