Hours: Monday to Thursday 6pm-6am (44 hours)
Location: Supreme Wheels, Milton Keynes
Supreme Wheels is a Specialist Alloy Wheel Refurbishment company based in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.
We are looking to recruit a workshop operative for our night shift. Training will be given to the right applicant. This role requires a hardworking individual with the ability to support the team. Though recent recruitment has taken place, due to our continuing expansion and workload, further staff are required.
The main purpose of this role will be to use our range of specialist tyre fitting equipment to fit and strip tyres and wash wheels removed from our water based chemical tanks.
Using specialised equipment within the wheel refurbishment process.
Tyre fitting/wheel exchange.
Loading/unloading chemical tanks.
Washing down alloys which have been chemically stripped.
Keying up alloys and de-weight and de-valving alloys.
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Any other reasonable management request.
You will be required to adhere to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures and contribute to good housekeeping.
To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:
Possess a full UK driving licence (with no more than six penalty points)
Able to lift heavy items (up to 25kg) for a sustained period within a workshop environment
Numeric
Able to follow instructions accurately
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to use your own initiative but also know when matters need to be referred to a supervisor
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Able to communicate clearly and concisely
Basic spoken and written English
Reliable and punctual
