Summary

Reporting directly to the maintenance manager, in this role you will be fully conversant in all painting and decorating as well as a basic knowledge of general repairs. You will have fantastic communication skills, a good level of English and, as the role predominantly includes working within our bedrooms and public areas, a clean smart appearance is a must for this role and must be shown at interview stage.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining all 201 bedrooms to a high standard of decoration and presentation Maintaining all public areas, including, the lobby, bar and restaurant, spa and meeting rooms to a high standard of decoration and presentation
  • Maintaining all back of house and staff areas to a high standard of decoration and presentation
  • Working in all areas highlighted both reactively as repairs arise, and proactively to a planned schedule of maintenance
  • Communicating with linked departments to ensure any works scheduled are completed in an appropriate timeframe without affecting the guest experience
  • Recording and logging all works completed
