Summary
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist in the Liverpool and St Helens to support Children and Young People with communication issues.
Sessional Speech and Language Therapist (Option to develop into Full-Time!)
Pay Rate: £40-50 DOE + £250 Welcome Bonus
Location: Liverpool | St Helens | Surrounding Areas | Hybrid
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (flexible)
Contract: Part-Time | Sessional | Full-Time option when established

Key Responsibilities:
- With access to regular supervision, you will be actively encouraged to develop areas of specialism, with a CPD budget available.
- Ensure the needs and views of the children and young people are at the heart of everything you do: offering evidence based, holistic and child-centred assessments and interventions.
- Use advanced specialist knowledge and levels of experience appropriately and effectively across a range of work practices which is underpinned by comprehensive and extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
- To undertake high quality assessments of children and young people and make recommendations about appropriate therapeutic interventions for each child or young person, in accordance with individual assessed needs.
- To work closely with children, young people, their parents, schools, councils and staff to ensure a personalised plan of delivery.
- To participate in service and practice development.
Essential
- Registered with the HCPC and a member of the RCSLT.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Substantial experience working with Younger People
- Early Years Experience (Desirable)
- Ability to manage own caseload (necessary)
- Full UK license and access to own car
- Proactive and positive attitude, thriving in busy environments.
