The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to deliver personalised support to students with diverse needs. Your role includes classroom assistance, working with students individually or in small groups, and promoting a positive, inclusive atmosphere for learning.

Key Responsibilities
Student Support:

  • Provide individualized support to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Encourage independence and resilience through structured activities.
  • Foster a nurturing environment to boost student confidence and self-esteem.

Classroom Collaboration:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Track and communicate student progress to the teaching team.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support students during transitions, breaks, and extracurricular activities.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Adhere to the school's safeguarding and welfare policies.

Who We're Looking For

  • We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who:
  • Has experience working with children, particularly in an SEN setting.
  • Is knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection.
  • Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable to different student needs.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.
