An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Health, Social Work and Sport, for a Senior Lecturer in Dietetics and Human Nutrition. The successful applicant will course lead pre-registration MSc in Dietetics. The School is home to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and CPD opportunities both taught on-campus and by distance learning and we are proud of our commitment to delivering courses and CPD opportunities with a strong research-, industry-, and practitioner-inspired teaching philosophy.

The successful applicant will be a Registered Dietitian with significant experience in Higher Education who possesses a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and learning and will support the delivery of pre-registration MSc Dietetics. The successful applicant will also contribute to the teaching, learning and assessment of Dietetic and Human Nutrition related subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

You must have a minimum of a Masters level award and have a professional qualification in dietetics and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) with relevant teaching and practitioner experience. A doctoral-level award and a teaching qualification or the capability and willingness to achieve these qualifications within a defined timescale are essential.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based at the University's main campus in Preston, Lancashire.
