Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our dedicated team of educators who possess exceptional skills, demonstrate genuine care for our students, and exhibit a profound passion for teaching and learning.
What will the apprentice be doing?
Under the guidance of the Headteacher and Teachers you will:
- Assist the Headteacher and Teachers in the development and implementation of a
programme of work
- Provide a stable, caring and supportive environment which enables pupils to achieve
their full learning potential, facilitates their social and moral development and allows
them to be fully integrated in school life
- Support the class teacher by carrying out, under direction if necessary,
administration and clerical tasks
- Support pupils with some disability, learning difficulties or behaviour problems, both
individually or in groups
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later
date.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Potential to move into a permanent position after the apprenticeship if the
opportunity is available
