Summary
Key Responsibilities:
• Sample Testing: Collect and analyse samples at various stages of the bottling process.
• Reporting: Record and report test results accurately, highlighting any deviations from standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure lab equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Data Logging: Keep all sample result logs up to date.
• Visitor Engagement: Interact with visitors, customers, and auditors.
• Stock Control: Manage lab inventory and replenish supplies.
• Complaint Support: Assist in complaint investigations to improve quality.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Recipe Adjustments: Calculate and adjust product recipes as needed.
• Cross-Training: Develop skills in various QC areas such as chemistry, microbiology, and sensory analysis.
• Lab Hygiene: Clean and decontaminate the lab to maintain high standards.
Extras: Continuous training provided. Job roles may evolve as our processes develop.
What We Are Looking For:
• Strong organisational and IT skills – especially Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and also part of a team
• Willingness to learn practical techniques
• Safe handling of hazardous chemicals
• Comfort working in wet, noisy, and variable environments
• Effective time management for multitasking
• Flexibility to assist and collaborate with team members
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Confidence to tactfully challenge procedures and results
