About the role

This role requires understanding operational and strategic agendas for designated area, attending team and individual meetings, representing, and promoting People and Culture while building relations and embracing a values-driven culture and a solution focused approach.

This role will be based in one of our North Bank Sites which include East Riding College, Beverley and Bridlington, Scarborough TEC, and Hull. You will line manage one People Advisor and work collaboratively to support, guide, and advise managers on people management issues, the employee life cycle and employee relations challenges to enable successful outcomes aligned to strategic objectives on our TEC Partnership South Bank sites.

About the person

The successful candidate will have:

Degree and/or professional qualification or equivalent experience
CIPD Level 5
Knowledge of Current Employment Law and upcoming changed in case law.
Generalist Knowledge of HR Processes and Procedures
An understanding and appreciation of safeguarding, particularly within the education sector.
Experience in handling employee relations cases, developing/writing policies and procedures, training, coaching and mentoring.
