We are seeking to recruit an outstanding Health & Safety Manager, with an excellent skills set and proven knowledge to lead health & safety across the Trust.

Hamwic Education Trust is a growing multi-academy trust, currently comprising of 36 schools (33 primary, 2 secondary and 1 hospital school across the South Coast. We are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Manager to join our growing team of professionals, in order to support our schools, with collaborative working across all schools.

The Health & Safety Manager role reports to the Head of Estates, and, in this varied role, will be responsible for supporting School Leaders, Site Managers and Business Managers in relation to health & safety and compliance.

The role requires visits to all Trust schools therefore flexibility around travel is essential.

WE ARE SEEKING AN PROFESSIONAL WHO:

• Has a keen eye for detail and ideally has experience of education premises and Health & Safety, along with strong organisational skills.
• Is self-motivated to actively support the estates strategic plan and development for the Trust.
• Has excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Has good IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• NEBOSH General Certificate is essential
• NEBOSH Fire Certificate would be desirable.
