A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Somerset Area!

With no day ever being the same the Process Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain PFMEA worksheets
  • Involved in the R&D of new processes across the site
  • Preparing projects considering budgets to develop and introduce new processes
  • Working closely with suppliers
  • Reducing manufacturing cost and non value added waste
  • Lead CAPEX project

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 8D, FMEA, OEE, Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree
  • Ability to understand Key Process Control Measures such as Cp and Cpk
  • Knowledge and experience of CAD and MS Office
  • Apprenticeship trained - desirable
