Summary

Additional Support Co-ordinator Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: SO1 £29,343 - £31,135 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)We have an exciting new opportunity for an ASC Co-ordinator post within our ALS team, part of our wide- ranging Learner Services team. This upcoming post will oversee the high needs ASC provision at Coventry College, including Preparation for Adulthood and Social Skills programmes. The role will include tracking, monitoring and reviewing high needs ASC students EHCPs and ensure that their support needs are met, including their wider social skills and independence- ensuring high quality support for learners throughout their learner journey at Coventry College. As well as acting as a Key Practitioner, the ASC Co-ordinator will have a caseload of high needs ASC EHCP learners and deliver specialist and targeted ASC interventions, focusing on Social Skills and Preparation for Adulthood. The role will involve carrying out initial assessments of high needs ASC learners and overseeing the production of personalised Support Plans, in addition to completing Annual Reviews within the national timeframe. The ASC Co-ordinator will be responsible for the accurate tracking of all support related matters on Pro Monitor so that the learner journey is clearly presented and ensuring information is shared with personal tutors, teaching staff, well-being coaches, relevant agencies and the Safeguarding team, where appropriate. The role will also support transition and exit arrangements and liaison with other professionals linked to particular high needs ASC learners. The post is full time, 37 hours per week, however the successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach to their hours of work and be prepared to travel off-site to attend meetings.
