Summary


This purpose of this role is to provide a hairdressing service
for inpatients and patients attending our Day Therapy Unit as
part of their wellbeing and holistic care offered by St
John's Hospice in Doncaster. We also care for relatives, offering them a service.

Hours are 20 hours per week, spread from Tuesday to Friday, with negotiation of start and finish times.

As part of working at the hospice you will get:
• Hospice orientation
• Mandatory Training
• Therapy Induction Programme
• Group supervision / continuing professional development updates.
• Free Parking

Assisting the Nursing Team to set up for Hairdressing Sessions.
• Working as part of a small team, hairdressers will offer:
• Cut and blow dry
• Setting/Styling
• Semi permanent colouring
• Perming
• Beard Trims
• Shampoo/Scalp Massage

Optional if also qualified in Beauty Therapy:
• File and Polish
• Facials

Spending time with patients to help meet holistic care needs.
