Summary

Are you passionate about supporting young people in a challenging yet rewarding environment? Do you possess strong behaviour management skills and have a background that can positively impact an alternative provision setting?

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join our Secondary Alternative Provision in Blackburn.

About the Role:
- Provide support and guidance to students, assisting them in overcoming barriers to learning and personal development.
- Utilise your behaviour management skills to foster a positive and structured environment.
- Collaborate closely with a team of professionals to deliver tailored support to each student, promoting their academic and social success.
- Engage with students through various activities, encouraging positive behaviours and attitudes.

Requirements:
- Experience in youth work, support work, or similar roles.
- Strong behaviour management skills, with a calm and patient approach.
- A background in mental health nursing, sports, or the armed forces is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people and helping them achieve their potential.
