Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Gatwick. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with mental health challenges, helping them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to individuals with mental health needs
Assist in developing and implementing individual care plans
Encourage and facilitate positive engagement in community activities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care
Requirements:
Experience in mental health care or support work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Right to work in the UK (UK Passport/Share Code) - NO SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE
A valid DBS check
Relevant training certificates (e.g., PMVA, First Aid)
Desirable:
Previous experience as a Mental Health Support Worker
Familiarity with mental health conditions and support strategies
