I’m an autistic woman in my late twenties looking for a personal assistant to help
with daily tasks such as cleaning, shopping, trips out and general admin. I often
have dislocated shoulders and hips due to a medical condition so I may need help
with washing and styling my hair. No other personal care required.
I have a 4 year old son that lives with my parents but I do see him regularly and
sometimes for overnight stays, therefore a candidate that is comfortable around
children is essential.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Moving and handling
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Administration
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Looking after pets
Gardening
Hair washing and styling
Cleaning rat cage
Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
I have a good sense of humour and am interesting in gaming, animals, and music
so somebody with similar interests would be ideal!
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working
hours
Notes:
