Summary
To provide physiotherapy care in the outpatient pelvic health physiotherapy setting. To assess and treat patients with diverse pelvic floor dysfunction presentation and complex physical and psychological conditions, providing a diagnosis and developing and delivering individualised treatment programmes. To communicate with relevant colleagues, MDT members, and patients, relatives and carers in order to facilitate a team approach to patient care. To hold responsibility for own case load, working without direct supervision. To be responsible for supervision, education and assessment of more junior physiotherapists. To undertake evidence-based audit and to assist in the implementation of specific changes to practice or contribute to service protocols. To participate in virtual consultation model, when required.
