Summary

We are looking for a “can do” law clerk to provide support and assist the Legal Services team, based predominantly within the child/adult care team, although you may be expected to support other members of the team on occasion.

The individual must be a team player who is able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, and also to work on your own initiative. You will be organized and able to prioritise your workload after receiving training in respect of the Family Court process. You are expected to obtain disclosure in family law cases, redact documents and upload them to a Court based portal. Confidentiality is absolutely critical as well is a “keen eye” for redacting documents.

You will be expected to attend court on occasions to sit behind Barristers and provide a report to the Solicitor with conduct of the case.

You will need experience in dealing with professionals, using computerized systems and experience of working in an office environment. Legal experience would be advantageous.
