What is a Community Resource Centre (CRC)?

Bath and North East Somerset have two care homes which are Community Resource Centres located in Bath and Midsomer Norton. Each Community Resource Centre includes a residential care home for between 30 and 45 people, and these homes provide important services to older people in our community. We provide care and health services in a comfortable, safe environment for older vulnerable adults with a variety of disabilities, including dementia.

Combe Lea

Combe Lea is a residential care home that provides care and health services in a safe environment for older vulnerable adults with a variety of disabilities. It offers a broad range of activities which aim to promote independence by developing or maintaining and enhancing people’s skills, interests and abilities.

Within the CRC Support role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a fantastic team of carers and support teams. Our Care Support workers at these centres work hard to offer residents the opportunity to retain as much independence as possible and to enjoy their live.

About the Role

We are looking for organised, enthusiastic, and motivated person to work on a temporary basis with us at Combe Lea Residential Care Home as an Administrator.

This is a Temporary role working 30 hours per week working Monday to Friday. This post plays a key role in supporting the care teams and senior management posts deliver their services.

About You

Good numerical and word processing skills
Strong Knowledge/experience of MS Word and MS Excel
Friendly, confident, well presented and customer focused.
Professional telephone manner.
Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
An appreciation of need for confidentiality and discretion.
Good communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage workloads, to cope with conflicting demands and deadlines.
Confident team player.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Flexible and ability to adapt your approach to duties.
Willingness to undertake training and learn new systems.
