Responsibilities:
- Welding and Fabrication: Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks to repair and maintain machinery.
- Machine Operation: Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain various types of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- General Maintenance: Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to prevent machine downtime.
- Refurbishments: Assist with refurbishing machinery and equipment to extend their operational life.
- Manual Handling: Perform heavy manual lifting as part of daily tasks, adhering to safety protocols.
- Working at Heights: Confidently work at heights with all necessary safety training provided.
- Working in Enclosed Spaces: Carry out tasks in enclosed spaces with comprehensive training and safety measures in place.
Requirements:
- Experience: Basic experience in welding, machine operation, and hand tool use.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy manual lifting and other physically demanding tasks.
- Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in various environments, including at heights and in enclosed spaces.
- Flexibility: Ability to work overtime when needed to support the team and meet deadlines.
