Summary

Senior Syndicate Accounting Specialist

Tremendous opportunity for an experienced Syndicate/Lloyd's reporting specialist to assume what is essentially a hybrid Syndicate/Strategic Business Partner role.
As expected, responsibilities within the role will include Lloyd's regulatory reporting (production of Lloyd's returns and relevant MI.

As well as…

  • Overseeing and managing Third Party Finance providers to ensure that they deliver timely and accurate internal MI and Lloyd's regulatory reporting.
  • Production of Lloyd's returns for a new Captive Syndicate.
  • Preparation of internal finance reporting to Board, Committees and MGA partners.
  • Treasury management, including co-ordination with the Third-Party Providers to ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Supporting the audit process to ensure efficient and timely audit cycles.
  • Development of procedures to aide continual improvement within the MGA finance area.
  • Documentation of processes, procedures, and accounting papers as required.
  • Provide a first review of the MI and regulatory reporting provided by Third Party Finance providers.
  • Work with the internal project team to assist in all finance related activities associated with onboarding any new MGA's.

Relevant experience is deemed as an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) in conjunction with experience of a Lloyd's Syndicate and Lloyd's Regulatory Reporting.
