Permanent Role based on a 37.5-hour week

This post qualifies for our smarter working policy with the expectation of being office based 2 days per week & working 3 days from home

Location: Beeston - Free on-site parking is available.

As the Lettings Advisor you will be required to manage the re-letting of a patch of current and forthcoming void properties, sourcing housing applicants by various methods including through local authorities and MTVH’s internal transfer list, managing applicant short-lists, undertaking eligibility checks, and coordinate lettings with local housing teams. You will be required to ensure that all lettings are fully compliant with agreed processes, and that systems are updated in a timely manner.

The role will include managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help with void property management and to minimise re-let times. You will need to work with our customers on identifying any possible risks or support required and liaising with relevant teams accordingly. Lettings processes will need to be followed as well as MTVH policies and procedures and you will be required you to ensure that all void and other property records are kept accurate and up to date.

You will also be responsible for managing the end of tenancy process, through to instructing for empty property works to commence.

The key target is to ensure that rent loss is kept to a minimal and re-let performance is maximised.

Other responsibilities include managing tenancy change requests, including successions.

What you’ll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you must:-

*Demonstrate an understanding of the social housing sector

*Able able to work under pressure and manage your own workload,

*Have strong communicator acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders,

*Proven strong administrative and organisational skills,

*Performance driven

*Ability to work well as part of a team
