The Data Flows team is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join their team. You will be joining the organisation as we procure and implement a new set of BI tools and an associated data warehouse, working with a team of Specialist & Advanced Analysts in one of the largest acute NHS Trusts in the country.

You will be responsible for partnering with a variety of colleagues across operations, clinical, financial & digital services to contribute to the delivery of the team’s objectives. These will be achieved by producing and presenting insightful information, completing reports in an accurate and concise format and monitoring of performance against local and national targets.

As one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England, we offer learning and development opportunities to help you achieve the career you aspire to.

Specific to this role is the suitability for agile working which is a mixture of on-site and remote working. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what’s possible for the role and service. UHS employees are able to access a range of NHS discounts, are entitled to a minimum of 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), and we offer a generous pension scheme.

Southampton is an attractive place to live and work situated on the south coast, with an international airport and direct trains to London. The New Forest National Park and beaches of the Jurassic coast are also right on our doorstep. The city offers living costs 20% lower than London and 14 schools rated outstanding by Ofsted.

Your role will involve working closely with the colleagues within the Data Flows Team and the Trust to support the collection, processing, analysis and reporting of key trust patient activity. You will be expected to work to a strict timetable to deliver reporting flows on time in line with internal and external expectations.

A key part of this role is monitoring activity, investigating discrepancies, and providing support and guidance to administration staff to ensure a high quality of Trust data.
