Summary

Come and make a difference as a Support Worker

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Support Worker in the Supported Housing Team. Supporting customers to enable them to live independently in their own homes and give them the opportunities and tools to thrive.

About the role

The Support Worker role is to support people experiencing mental ill health in their own homes and out in the community enabling independence and supporting them to achieve personal goals.

The role includes administrative duties including record keeping and support planning using a computerised system.

Please note this role does not involve offering personal care to clients.

About you

Applicants should have experience of supporting vulnerable adults and promoting independence to help them to achieve personal goals. You will need good organisation skills and experience of ICT to ensure all administrative duties are completed in a timely manner.

  • Support Worker – Permanent position
    • Salary is £25,242 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,260 per annum
      • Location: Gosforth
        • Regular travel will be required across Newcastle
          • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
