Summary

Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled Weapons Operative with specialized experience in ejector seats to join our client in Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, testing, and operational readiness of weapon systems, with a particular focus on aircraft ejector seats. This role demands a thorough understanding of weaponry and egress systems, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ejector Seat Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on aircraft ejector seats, ensuring all systems are operational and meet safety standards.
• Weapons Systems Management: Maintain, inspect, and repair various aircraft weapon systems and subsystems, including missiles, bombs, and ammunition handling equipment.
• Testing and Diagnostics: Conduct detailed testing and diagnostics on ejector seats and weapon systems to identify faults and ensure functionality.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations, protocols, and technical orders to ensure safe operation and maintenance of weapon systems.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and test results. Complete necessary documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to ensure the seamless integration of weapon systems into aircraft operations.
• Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to stay current with technological advancements and regulatory changes related to weapon systems and ejector seats.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies and provide technical expertise in the event of weapon system malfunctions or incidents.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in weapons systems maintenance, with specific expertise in aircraft ejector seats.
• Skills:
o Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
o Strong understanding of aircraft weapon systems and egress technologies.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
o Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to weapon systems and egress operations.
