Summary

The Strategy & Policy Directorate is seeking to appoint a Strategic Planner whose remit will be to contribute to the further development and growth of our Strategic Planning capabilities throughout the University of Strathclyde, helping to support the senior management and governing body of the University.

The Strategic Planner’s responsibilities will include: extracting, developing and analysing data for the purposes of populating statistical returns to the Scottish Funding Council and other external bodies; creating management information for decision-making; and producing detailed analysis and analytical support to faculties and departments including reporting, advice and insights drawn from data from internal and external sources and systems. These responsibilities are delivered in the context of University’s strategic priorities, plus policy developments in the Scottish and UK higher education sectors and wider environment.

The post is available on a full time basis however consideration will be given to applicants seeking part time/flexible working arrangements.
