Summary
Newstaff Employment Services are currently recruiting for a Weld Cleaning Operative for a large Pipe Coupling manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes
The company is the world’s leading supplier of mechanical couplings into marine, building services and utilities industries. Exporting product all over the globe and with a buoyant UK market this is a very progressive business built on solid foundations
This is a seated job role, cleaning TIG welded Stainless Steel
Duties will include:
• Using a hand-held brush and solution to clean
• Cleaning stainless steel items
• Occasional press forming duties if required
Ideal candidate:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing background
• Good awareness of quality, health & safety, and environmental requirements
• Good attitude and work ethic
• Willing to learn new skills
• Good English both spoken and written as you will be reading work instructions
Salary and shift:
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating Shift 6an to 2pm and then 12pm to 8am
• £11.44 per hour while on probation
• Hourly rate increases once taken on permanent after 3 months
