Summary


Are you a dedicated and experienced nurse seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and innovative environment?


We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our Interventional Radiology team at Charing Cross Hospital as a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse. If you have a minimum of two years' experience in a critical care setting and at least one year's experience in Radiology Nursing, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Charing Cross Hospital is a leading neuroscience centre in London, and one of two organisations offering 24/7 Thrombectomy services. Our Interventional Radiology department is highly specialised in both general and neuro-interventional procedures. The department provides comprehensive learning opportunities, from basic procedures like biopsies and drainages to complex treatments such as cerebral aneurysm management, ischemic stroke interventions, ureteric stenting, and embolisation procedures. You will also have the opportunity to develop skills in post-anaesthetic patient recovery and Level 2 care.



As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in leading our team in accordance with our Trust values, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in this fast-paced and specialised environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists, radiographers, and anaesthetists, across all imaging modalities such as Angio, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Recovery.
